I had one beta tell me that Americans tend to use 'won't' more than 'will' too:

That's weird, because I definitely say/hear stuff like "will you" all the time.

I actually noticed a bunch of things that might vary by region, though. And the slang in Boston is completely different from the slang everywhere else.
