I think you very much missed the point of this post. Part of the fun of the English language is regional variation and character, and to have Daniel from SG-1 sound exactly like Ianto from Torchwood would be bland, disappointing, and out of character for both of them. I certainly don't care how you spell 'favourite' but I think it's the height of arrogance to ignore character's individual voices and styles.
