Thanks for the explanation on the college/university issue. I'm always having problems trying to transfer my German education into American. Once I had to state me degree and I wasn't sure if it was a college or a university degree. I went with the latter one since my school was a university (though there are several degrees of universities here in Germany and the degrees itself vary a lot) and I'm glad to know that I was right in my choice.
