Fandom Grammar

Thank you! This is an invaluable post for me. I tend to fall between a rock and a hard place as a Brit who's lived overseas for nearly twenty years - my influences are all over the shop:)) I write in an American and a British fandom, and while many things are ingrained now ( the 's' 'z' thing, for instance), there are some things that always give me pause.
